What cycle are you in and where are you at in your cycle?
Do you have a question, brag or vent to share with the group this week?
QOTW: What do you eat for breakfast on a regular basis? (Ulterior motive on this one: I am getting bored with my usuals and would like some new ideas. haha!)

Re: TTC Tuesday Check-In 2/18/13
What cycle are you in and where are you at in your cycle? 20 months, 9 cycles, CD31, 8 DPO
Do you have a question, brag or vent to share with the group this week?
TTC-related vent - My face is already breaking out like mad with cystic acne, but I'm only 8 DPO (too early for PG symptoms), so I'm pretty sure AF will be arriving any day now.
I was complaining about my acne and about being tired (which were both issues during my first tri with DS), and my husband cautiously asked if these could be a sign of "something else." Poor guy. He looked so disappointed when I told him it was scientifically too early for PG symptoms and it was probably AF coming early. I think disappointing him every cycle is almost worse than disappointing myself.
Some non-TTC related, semi-funny vents:
1) DS got mad at me and threw his hat into the lake behind our condo when we were out for a walk Saturday. DH had to take his shoes off and wade into the lake (and it was cold that day too!)
My grandma always used to tell a story about how my mom threw one of her best Sunday shoes out the car window when she was little, so after I got over being mad, it kind of made me laugh. I guess a little bit of a temper runs in the family.
2) I set fire to my stove last night. I turned my back for just a couple seconds and there were flames jumping up into the air. I'm just glad I was standing there and I had a pitcher of water handy. If I had walked into another room, it could have gotten out of control fast. It also sucked because it was one of the coldest nights of the year here, and we had to open all the windows and doors for a couple hours to get the smoke out.
The funny part is that all I was trying to do was heat up some water to make hot toddies. I told DH he has earned a lifetime of "my wife is so bad in the kitchen she can burn water" jokes.
QOTW: What do you eat for breakfast on a regular basis? (Ulterior motive on this one: I am getting bored with my usuals and would like some new ideas. haha!)
My most frequent one is a greek yogurt sprinkled with a small amount of cheerios for crunch. If I have time to do the prep work, I also sometimes do overnight oats with fruit or cinnamon or a green monster smoothie. Occasionally, I have shredded wheat with almond milk or a granola bar. I want to do more low-carb breakfasts, but I've had trouble getting into them. I did microwaved egg whites every day for a couple weeks, but I'm having trouble finding stuff to mix with them or pair them with.
GG I don't want to get your hopes up but I had acne and was exhausted before bfp. Not exactly sure how many dpo though
glad you caught the fire!
What cycle are you in and where are you at in your cycle? Cycle 7, CD 12
Do you have a question, brag or vent to share with the group this week? I have a few. DS has been a bit under the weather the past 5 days or so. I hate seeing him not feel well. My usual happy guy has been a clingy mess the past few days. I can't wait for him to feel better. Thankfully I think he is finally on the mend. Ok so that was my vent.
Here is my question. It may be a bit TMI but I am kinda confused. I am on CD 12 today. As of yesterday I started spotting and today it is very light, pink blood. AF ended on Thursday. I have never really had any sort of bleeding in between AFs. I have had a bit of spotting mid cycle before but this is new to me. I also had some cramping yesterday but that seems to be gone today. I am not really sure what to think of this. Any thoughts??
I also just thought of something else to share. I remember when we were trying to conceive A, DH and I watched The Great Sperm Race. It must have been a coincidence but we got pregnant within a month or two of watching it. So the other day I pulled it up on YouTube and watched it again. Maybe it will help again.
QOTW: What do you eat for breakfast on a regular basis? (Ulterior motive on this one: I am getting bored with my usuals and would like some new ideas. haha!) Lately I have been into Cinnamon Raisin bagels. Not very healthy but they are yummy. Occasionally I will make an egg and cheese sandwich. Sometimes I just have a bowl of Cheerios. Nothing to crazy going on here.
ETA: Good luck GG!!! Hope this is your cycle!
Thanks, guys, for the encouragement! I know I'm always the one who says you're not out 'till AF shows, so I guess I should take my own advice.
@ jax - I've never spotted at ovulation, but I understand it's a legit thing. I know CD 12 might be a 'lil early but any chance it was this? This is C&P'd from Fertility Friend:
Ovulation spotting: Some women see slight spotting at the time of ovulation. This is quite rare, but you may see that your cervical fluid is streaked with blood or has a pink tinge. If you do notice this and it is accompanied by fertile cervical fluid (eggwhite or watery) enter the cervical fluid as eggwhite or watery but make a note about the spotting in your notes section. If it is heavy or lasts longer than a day, you should ask your doctor about it.
It is a bit early but it is also bit more than spotting. Who knows. Time will tell I guess. I feel like my cycles are all messed up all of a sudden. Last cycle was the first time I have had a 28 day cycle ever. They are usually 30-31 days. I am going to see my OB next month for my yearly checkup and if I'm not pregnant by then, I will be discussing all of this with her.
Thanks for the help though!!
What cycle are you in and where are you at in your cycle? Cycle 6 CD25 9DPO 2WW - Testing CD12 Friday 2/22 if I can wait that long.
Do you have a question, brag or vent to share with the group this week? Nope, I am having more phantom symptoms and really hoping this is my month.
QOTW: What do you eat for breakfast on a regular basis? (Ulterior motive on this one: I am getting bored with my usuals and would like some new ideas. haha!) I typically do a breakfast burrito (scramble 1 egg and slice up a piece of lunch meat ham) in a whole wheat tortilla with some salsa. Also do bagel and cream cheese or peanut butter on whole wheat english muffin.DD 12.2010
I'm hoping to be on your grad list next week!
ETA: what's with the no text? wierd.
DD 12.2010
Do you have a question, brag or vent to share with the group this week? I'm still not charting because it scares me. I have used an app on my phone since J was born to keep track of my periods, but charting just makes it seem real. IDK. I spent a bunch of time on FF this week though, just trying to bite the bullet. I'm not sure what i'm so scared of.
QOTW: What do you eat for breakfast on a regular basis? Thomas' Light English Muffin or an Everything Bagel Thin during the week. On Sundays I usually make some Egg Beaters or maybe pancakes.
