  I don't get why people ask this stuff here. I'm hoping with 15 posts it's not mud but in case you really need to be told. Call your clinic, everyone has an after hours care line. No one here can tell you what to do, or if you are at risk. If you can't breath, it's a problem and you should be seen.

  I've got asthma, too, and my ob reminds me at every appointment that if I can't breathe baby can't either.
  
  With that said, my biggest concern would be my asthma and I say if it's questionable and you can't get relief from your asthma with your inhaler or whatever other prevention methods you're on, I'd at least call my ob, an after hours nurse, or head into the ld because you need to breathe.

  I am a respiratory therapist.  I would call your OB.  Also how short of breath are you. Can you finish a sentence without being out of breath?   A fever kinda soumds like the flu, which can be dangerous for an asthmatic.  I would at the very least be seen tomorrow if the shortness of breath isn't too bad and you get relief with an inhaler.  Good Luck!
