Cold or Flu and when will it end?

Hi everyone!

This is my very very first pregnancy and I am TOO excited about becoming a mommy.  But since last Thursday I've been having fevers ranging from 99.0 - 100.6.  My only other symptom is tightness in the chest.  

Do any of you know whether this is a cold or the flu?  

 

Also, I'm 7 weeks 1 day and I haven't had morning sickness yet, should I be worried?

 

Also, (sorry!) I was wondering, how do I add a little ticker thingy at the bottom of my posts?  I want the one that says my baby is the size of a blueberry. Embarrassed

    I would call your doc and explain your symptoms.. he'll prob want to see you early. 

    Go to my tools and create the ticker.   Then go to my bump, edit my avatar and signature.  Copy and paste the HTML code into the text box at the bottom and his save repeatedly.

    your body temp is raised when you are pregnant, so that doesn't seem too crazy.  you can call and ask though, but doesn't sound like the flu.  with my first i had zero morning sickness, not everyone gets it

     I've already been to the ob.  I originally said that January would be the month that I stopped trying to conceive, so I had scheduled an appointment for February 8th to talk with my Gyn about birth control.  When I turned out to be pregnant, I just made that my first prenatal.

    I just got over the flu. I had it Friday and Saturday. I did not have a fever (I never get them), but I didn't realize that I had it until the evening. I don't know how I didn't realize that having diahrea all day and body aches was the flu...RETARD! But after MS all week I was already wacked out. I honestly thought it was from the pesto pasta I had the night before. I couldn't call the doctor because it was too late and they obviously aren't in on Saturdays.
