We have our next IUI this weekend (anywhere between friday and monday). We are planning to do an IUI AND an ICI this time. We are really excited about it! I am a little nervous as we still have some research to do on the ICI but we want to try it. Has anyone done an IUI and an ICI in the same cycle? QOTD: We are planning on using cloth diapers. I am very impressed at how much they have evolved over the years and think this will be the best choice for us (and the environment)!

Well my iui is tomorrow and I never heard of doing a iui and ici in the same cycle! That sounds very interesting! Please keep me updated!! I have two girls so I used pampers, huggies and Im willing to try cloth diapers! It's worth. Try

Hello all,

We had another BFN last week after IUI #2. It was much easier the second time around but still sucks. We just had a pre-scan (early cycle) ultrasound a few days ago to make sure everything looked okay. Previously I had only had midcycle ultrasounds for IUI timing. Luckily the pre-scan looked good. Follicles are developing, so hopefully one of them turns into our BFP next cycle.

We talked about doing more blood work and HSG testing to make sure there aren't and IF issues that we aren't aware of. But I declined testing at this time (it isn't covered my insurance). I feel like with regular cycles, good progesterone levels, and only 2 tries at IUI so far, that there is no need to assume IF issues. I mean straight couples have to try to get pregnant for an entire year usually before they discuss IF testing. When did you have this testing done (if you did)?

QOTD: I wish I could say we are going to do cloth diapers, but we won't be. It will be disposable for us.

We have a few different things going on right now. First I have to report that we are on month 3 of TTC. I had a HSG test in December and I have not got a positive OPK since my HSG test. I wasn't sure if I was not testing at the right time of my cycle or the right time of day, so we still did the insemination. We are using a KD and doing the insemination ourselves, so we went ahead and tried. After three months I am realizing that we need to move forward with getting some help. So we are going to an RE in March. I want to figure out why I am not ovulating when everything else seems to be ok. I am hoping that our next step is some type of medication to induce ovulation, like Clomid. So in the meantime I am working on trying to lose some weight and hopefully we will get some answers next month when we see the RE :-)

This was a fun weekend. We put an offer in on a house and we found out this morning it has been accepted!

Our first IUI is this week. I started with OPK today, thinking with the way that I trended the past two months that my IUI will be on Friday.

I really like the cloth diaper idea, I do have to do more research on it. My niece needed to change our no matter what brand was used she always had the worst diaper rash I have ever seen and with cloth she has been great!

We are on holiday!

I realized yesterday I couldn't even remember what CD I am on.... Now that's refreshing when you're taking a ttc break!

We will definitely cloth diaper with probably using disposables for overnight. I already have a small stash built up for us from things we got used and at huge discounts... Considering we aren't even pg yet it's a decent sized stash!

well i'm feeling good about this I IUI today and i'm so excited my OB/GYN made me laugh during my process. So tomorrow i'm going back to do another IUI tomorrow so I have my fingers cross!!
