Tiptoeing in from TTC after 35.   I posted here a bit last fall but never formally introduced myself.  That was my first pregnancy and at my 8 week ultrasound, we discovered a missed miscarriage.  I'm struggling to feel overly excited or confident until I pass that milestone with this pregnancy.  So in my effort to fake it until I make it, I'm going to jump in with an intro.   I've been lurking for a while so I feel like I already know you guys!  

I will be 40 in April.   My husband just turned 39.   We have 2 spoiled dogs and a cat.  I have my first doctor visit and ultrasound on 3/12.   I'll get the official due date then, but it should be around October 23rd.  October is a popular birth month in my family.  Between brother, nieces, great-nephews and my beloved pooch, there are 9 October birthdays in the family already.  

I'm looking forward to sharing the journey with you all.  Good luck to everyone.

1st BFP-8/17/12!  Missed Miscarriage discovered @ 8 week US.  D&C.
2nd BFP-2/13/13!  Blighted Ovum discovered @ 8 week US. Natural miscarriage.
3rd BFP-5/22/13!  By early June, progesterone plummeting.  Another loss.
August 2013 - started Donor Egg process, but surprise BFP with my own eggs.

    Yay! Welcome back!!!

    I totally know how you feel-- I wasn't feeling good about this pregnancy until I made it through the first trimester and felt like I had a little more breathing room (figuratively, not literally, obviously). Hang in there and try to enjoy it while you can. For now: you're pregnant!

    Welcome back, and fingers crossed that all goes swimmingly and you'll have a sweet little baby in your arms come October! Keep us updated!

    HI! I remember you from the TTC over 35  boards... i had just signed up there in January. i'd been TTC since September. I got my first ever BFP on February 13th too! I've been to the doctor to confirm so now i'm just hanging out to wait for my first sono at 8 weeks.

     

    Did you say anything on that other board about getting a positive? i cant decide if i should, i feel bad so many there have been trying to hard for so long! tho we never know if it will stick, right?! 

     anyway wanted to say hi and congrats! looks like were both in the same boat! i'll be 37 in a few weeks, btw. and i think my due date is Oct 20th.

    I remember you from TTC>35.  Welcome back!  Wishing you smooth sailing for the next 9 months!

    Congrats and good luck with your ultrasound!  I hope everything goes smoothly for you and that this is it!  I know how terrifying it can be and even though I keep passing milestones, I find myself worrying more than I should even at 18 weeks now. I think it just comes with pregnancy.  Looking forward to hearing more from you.

    TTC 10/11. IUI 2/12. BFP 3/8/12. 4/26/12 missed mc. RE consult 5/17/12. IVF #1 ER 7/13/12 53R, 41M ICSIed, 32F, 8 5d, 6 6d blasts - all PGD/frozen. PGD results 1 normal M and 1 normal F, 1 maybe M. FET 9/6, transferred 1 F embie. Beta 9/15 BFN. FET#2 planned for 11/2012 put off until 2013. Surprise BFP 11/21/12!! My son was born on 7/24/13!

    FET 4/28/2015 - Transferred 1 M embie. 5/6/15 BFP!
