Do any of you use your shopping cart cover?

Do you use it all the time? Or was it just used the first month or so and was forgotten in the rush of things?

I used mine twice, it was more annoying to carry and remember to bring with me than anything else. It was a waste of a purchase in my opinion. In fact, you just reminded me that I have it and I'm going to sell mine on ebay, lol

Never used the shopping cart cover with either of my kids. I tried it once and it was the biggest hassle and just one more thing to keep up with. I sometimes will wipe down the cart before I put them in but only if my mother is in town.

I am the weird one in the group because I still use mine most of the time!!!! My little girl is 3 years old and I just don't like all the germs hanging around on shopping carts.

I definitely used it when DD was younger. Whenever she outgrew putting everything in her mouth I stopped using it.

I think I used mine a handful of times. DD1 outgrew the infant seat before she could sit on her own, and the cover helped prop her into the cart a little more. As soon as she could sit reliably, I stopped using it. I never used it for DD2.

Thanks, I was looking to see if it would be a waste of a purchase to me it seems to be esp carring a little one and rushing in to have to stop and put this thing on the cart. I mean I get all of the issues with germs and stuff I have 2 older girls and the shopping cart cover didnt exsisted when they were young and somehow they survived.

Never used them. Of course, I carried or wore DD until she was past one, so it didn't really come up for a long time.

I used it like once. It was a PITA to carry around and I would always forget it. I don't mind the idea of one but it just never got used in our house.

I used it with DD1, maybe from 5-7 months old. Then I realized, she's in DC and putting germy stuff in mouth all the time. DD2, maybe once. Too much of a hassle.

I used it religiously until after the second flu season- so he was just over a year when I put it away.

I used it from months 6-9, I think. It was a pain because it was one more thing I had to haul into the grocery store, one more thing to wash, etc.

I used it more in restaurants than with grocery carts. Those highchairs in restaurants can be pretty nasty!

I still use it. It also helps make sure snacks, lists, etc do not fall onto the floor.

I used one for about 2 months with DD. I didn't use it at all with DS.

My LO is 2 1/2 and yes, I always use it. I'm a germ-o-phobe, so I like to know he has a clean place to sit in the cart. I just always leave it in the back of my Jeep, so I always have it when I need it. It only comes into the house to be washed.
