inappropriate Nick Jr commercial!

So I am now THAT mom that wrote to a TV station about an inappropriate commerical I saw TWICE today on Nick Jr... this morning at 6am when I first saw it I thought I was too tired and maybe it wasn't that bad, then I saw it again this evening and it is THAT BAD!

Here is a version, pretty much dead on to what I saw, directed by Rob Zombie, I found on youtube.... I am pissed this is on a pre-schoolers channel. They don't understand the concept...

I never thought I would be this way, but if the TV is on, I put that channel on for a reason instead of the Law & Order SVU I would rather watch

Oh, and FWIW, I switched to Disney Jr. We didn't have disney when L was little. Just Sprout and Nick Jr. So she watched Caillou and Dora. I find Disney less annoying.

Glad you wrote a letter. We only watch Bubble Guppies and Team Umizoomi on NickJr. The rest of the time it's Disney Jr.

ABCFamily did that with the movie Posession a couple weeks ago during Disney's Hercules. I was pissed. No kid needs to see fingers trying to claw their way out of someone else's mouth.

I don't mind that commercial on an adult channel for adults. But I'm sorry, Rob Zombie has no business directing commercials that will be aired on Nick Jr. Wrong Wrong Wrong.

O is into Diego, but recently Little Bear too. He laughs his Butt off when its on, yet I would have thought it was a more boring one since it doesn't have all the singing and dancing.

Apparently! Lol oh there's tons more. Ever since my my first nephew was born 5 years ago only sports or nick Jr is on at my parents.

Nope! I only know of a couple of shows on Disney, and on WETA kids.

But I'd be super pissed if a commercial for a horror movie was on during one of those shows!

We DVR Jack's Big Music Show on Nick -- otherwise the only other thing that sometimes gets put on in our house is the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Disney.

Little Bear is L's favorite. She's the one who would have a meltdown with out him. K likes it because L likes it.

Which is why we only watch PBS in our house. Even the commercials for other tv shows for the older kids annoy thecrap out of me. I can't stand the stuff they make for like 8yos. The kids are so bratty!

I've DVR'd a couple Doc McStuffins and Bubble Guppies, otherwise the only channel I feel comfortable running at this point is PBS.

speak for yourself! That stuff skeeves me out! Lol I hate all these new zombie/vampire/dead people shows. It is desensitizing people to blood/death/gore. So gross.
This deff has no business being near any kids shows or stations. We are Disney Jr all the way!

Aside from seeing the ladies here talk about them, I'm with you, Gym!

I've seen that commercial (who knows what station) before and thought I was about to see a trailer for a scary movie. I'm a huge wimp for movies, and it freaked me out, so I know it could scare a little kid.

B mostly watches Sprout. I've never seen any commercial like that on Sprout. I would have complained as well.

It would be a kind of clever, funny commercial around Halloween, at 10pm, on FX or USA or something. My 5 year old seeing that would seriously tick me off, let alone LO.
