Intro and a question

Hello,my name is Katie. I'm a stay at home mom to a little boy who is 6 months old. He was born at 41 weeks 1 day and ended up in the NICU with seizures from a brain hemorhage. He has been seizure free since his 4th day of life,thanks to the medicine his neurologist put him on. We breastfeed,co-sleep and babywear.
I look forward to getting to know all of you!
My question is,DH wants to start having DS sleep in his packnplay next to our bed instead of him being in bed with us. I really love co-sleeping and it has been wonderful these past 6 months but DS won't sleep unless I am holding him or laying down with him. How do I teach him to sleep without me without making him CIO? We are also trying to wean him off of being swaddled so I'm afraid of how he will adjust to that if we also stop letting him sleep with us. Thanks!
