PP bleeding

My bleeding had pretty much tapered off the last week, I haven't hardly seen any.  I stupidly stopped wearing pads.  But this morning, it is back to being bright red, with clots and cramping,   Do you think it Is possible I got my period already?   I got mine a week after I stopped bleeding with dd. while ebf.

    Doubtful. I bled for 5 days, it stopped for 6 days, and then it came back hardcore and has been around ever since. It starts and stops, it's normal. I am on mobile and can't see your siggy... How many days PP are you?

    How did you know it was your period with your first? Mine tapered off after 2 weeks and stopped for a day or two, then started back up with bright red blood and is starting to taper off again. I don't think it's my period, but then I'm not sure I'd be able to tell either way.

    I am 3 weeks pp, and from what I read, it is normal to get it this early.

    I knew last time because the amount of blood, and I got my usual migraine.... Which I now feel like I am getting a migraine, and in retrospect, I have had aura for two days now, I just didn't think about it.  

    I just wonder how this will ffect breast feeding.

    Hm. I bled for 6 days and haven't had anything since (now 13 days PP). I stopped wearing a pad today, but maybe I shouldn't risk it! ;-)

    I don't know how to tell the difference between continued PP bleeding and your first PP AF if it's that close together. I wouldn't think you'd get a PP AF until after you ovulated, though, and it doesn't seem like there's been enough time for that.


    BFP1: DD1 born April 2011 at 34w1d via unplanned c/s due to HELLP, DVT 1 week PP
    BFP2: 3/18/12, blighted ovum, natural m/c @ 7w4d
    BFP3: DD2 born Feb 2013 at 38w4d via unplanned RCS due to uterine dehiscence
