I'm 12 hours into my induction. Due to some so so NSTs last week increasing anxiety that I couldn't keep a handle on, we all agreed it was time. Got the cervidil about 10 hours ago, and they'll take it out in about 2 more hours. Hoping it's doing its job well. Then I have the option of an enema, see post below, them it's on to pitocin. Slightly terrified of what's to come. I hope everyone else is doing great this evening/morning!

Re: 12 hours in
I went in to be induced as well and the cervidil started making me have major contractions before I even made it to the pitocin. I went from 2cm to 8cm in about 3 hours but ended up not being able to deliver him naturally. It had nothing to do with the drugs, our little baby was just too big to fit through my pelvis. We ended up having an emergency c-section. This was my first child and I had no idea what to expect when being induced and I have to admit, I was nervous. Now that it is all said and done, it wasn't that bad!!
Overall, my whole experience even with the emergency c-section was postive.
