Hi ladies! I am 33 weeks today and met with my OB and asked about using EPO and RRL tea. He said there was no proven benefit as far as prepping for labor but that it wouldn't hurt anythng. I asked if I could start now and he said yes. I just wanted to run it past you ladies here as it startd to seem early the more I thought about it.
FYI: for medical reasons, I will not be allowed past my EDD. My docs prefer I deliver around 38-39 weeks and I really would love to avoid an induction. I am having BH, but I know that really doesn't mean anything:-)
Thanks ladies! Any other advice is welcome also!

Re: Is starting EPO and RRL tea at 33 weeks too soon?
you can start drinking RRL at 12 weeks. 1-2 cups/day in the second trimester, 3-4 cups/day in the third.
NOTE: drinking RRL will not put you into labor, nor will it encourage labor to start. it only tones the uterus, so that when labor does start, every ctx is most efficient.
EPO usually around 36 weeks, but you could start as early as 34 weeks if your gestation is effectively going to be shorter. oral 500mg until 37 weeks, then up to 1000mg plus insert a capsule vaginally. no need to prick the capsule, your body heat will melt it. usually best to insert after your last trip to the bathroom for the night, then go to bed with a panty liner to catch any discharge.
i hope all is well with your health and your baby's health.
