Hip pain relief?

Anyone have any tips for getting rid of hip pain that I get from sleeping on my sides? I try to switch sides regularly but if I sleep for more than an hour on either side, it kills for a good hour. I can't get I to a comfortable place after. I took Tylenol and even woke up dh to rub it for a couple minutes (long as he would stay awake). The whole leg even seems to hurt...Down to the knee and ankle.

Any tips on how to relieve this?? TIA

  • I have no advice, nothing I've tried seems to help.  I'm hoping someone else has a better answer because not sleeping just isn't cutting it any more! I think I'll actually be getting MORE sleep once the baby arrives than I am right now!

  • I don't have a solution, but I try stretching a lot and having DH rub my legs and hips.

  • Sorry for not having an answer either but I am dealing with the same thing! Flipping every hour in the middle of the night .. I agree maybe more sleep once LO comes! Lol
  • Go to the chiropractor ! I had the same problem the realign your hips which feels do much better!!!
  • I'm in the same boat, and I can only sleep on one side because of a cracked rib. My hips and upper back hurt so bad last night I couldn't sleep, and when my fianc? woke up I started crying. He got a hot shower started for me, and after that I took some extra strength Tylenol and laid down on top of my body pillow. The extra squishiness at least helped me sleep for 2 hours.
