June 2013 Moms

I was "one of those girls"

that had an early ultrasound to determine the sex. Today was my A/S and we still have a girl!! Beyond excited that I don't have to return any of the purchases I made (not many bc I was scared lol) and to decorate for a little girl!! She was completely perfect but is breech so hopefully in the next 18 weeks she turns around for us! Can't wait to welcome little Harper Shea into this world!

  • Same here. At 15 weeks we found out and reassured at 19 and 22 she hasn't grown anything!
  • Congrats on team pink!  We were one of those couples who had baby checked out at 16 weeks and so glad we didn't buy anything because he is most definitely a she!

Our little girl was breech too during the A/S so we're also hoping she turns around when it gets closer to time.

  • Congratulations! If it makes you feel any better, at my a/s my little girl was head down and then the tech had me lie on my side for a bit to try to get better shots of her spine (or something, she didn't tell me much, she was a jerk) and when she put the probe back on LO was breech. So apparently flipping around is not that hard. When I had an elective about a week later to confirm girl she was head down again!

I think she's been mostly breech since then, based on where I could feel the kicks. I wouldn't worry too much!
