Fussy girl after yeast diaper rash...

I have a 5 1/2 month old. Shes been battling a diaper rash for 2 weeks now. I took her to the doc about a week ago and was toold she had a reg and yeast diaper rash. So weve been using a strong rx to get rid of the yeast and its mostly gone now. I didnt even know shr had a reg diaper rash when I took her in since she is pink naturally I thought she just had a yeast rash so I was surprised when she said that. Well as far as I can tell both seem to be alnost gonr but she still keeps grimacing and crying throughout the day. I inspected jer further and I noticed she starts to cry everytime I go to clean off her vaginal area. Like the whole thing. I looked at it and the opening of her vagina seems red. Could she have something internal from the diaper rash if thats possible?

    Is this an oral or topical medication?  I believe LO's can get an internal yeast infection like we can.  I would call the pedi, they may be able to suggest something else.  When my LO had a yeast rash they said to put baking soda in the bath water and have her sit in it.  It should help the redness and discomfort.
