Anyone had one yet? I have my first one tonight and CANNOT wait. I did her, though, that they don't rub hands or feet. If that's true, I might be dissapointed, as that's normally my favorite part of a massage. And what would the reasoning for that be?
Re: Prenatal Massage
I had one last week and they still did my hands and feet.
I thought it was fantastic, and may have to treat myself again later in pregnancy!

they still rub hands and feet just not the ankles and other pressure points. make sure the therapist is prenatal certified because dinky salons don't all have proper certification. and avoid the aromatherapy oils just unscented which is a big bummer since I love oils
I am as well and completely agree... It would take someone really working on those points for several minutes and using a pretty good amount of pressure for something to happen. Most people just err on the side of caution. And as for oils most of the regular scents are completely fine... especially if you are on the receiving end of the massage. Its more when you are exposed to them day in and day out that they can become a problem. There are certain ones to stay away from all together but none that you will probably run in to.
