    Hi!!! I'm not a 'new' mommy, but I'm up in Round Lake Beach. DS is 20 months old already and I'm due with baby #2 in September.

    I'm in the Crystal Lake area. I have a 14 month old baby boy and I'm expecting DS2 in about 6 weeks.

    I'm in Ingleside, so basically between McHenry and Round Lake! :) Is anyone interested in a get together? My daughter is just over 7 months old

    Hi there!  I'm just signed up on this website - so brand new to this group. 

    My name is Krissy - I live in Volo and have a 10 month old, 2 1/2 year old and a 4 year old.  I've been trying to find a local playgroup or start something up on Fridays - maybe every other Friday or once a month.  Volo is near Ingleside, McHenry and Round Lake.  Maybe start something up where we can meet at a public place.

    I would love to start something like this, I've been looking for a local play group too. I live right on the ingleside/volo border, over by Home Depot.

    If anyone is interested in starting up a group I'm happy to organize it. Send me a pm if your interested and we can start emailing about it.

    Would you guys include me? I'm in Crystal Lake, and wouldn't be able to participate during the week because of work, but would love to be on copy in case you guys plan something for a weekend. I imagine that there will be a lot more opportunities to get together as the weather gets warmer, so maybe we can plan a park outing or something! I have a 5 year old stepson, a 14 month old boy and am due with another boy on April 1.

    So I have a confession..I thought I put this thread on"watch", but apparently not....and being the newbie I am- I forgot how to get back to this page, embarassing I know! I'm so glad there are a bunch of you gals in the area, and would love to partake in a meetup! I saw the other post about some of u meeting up this Fri... Hopefully, I can join and make the next one!

    Hey,

    We've met up a couple times on Friday's.  If you'd like to be included, just let me know.  Send me a pm w/ your email.  Your boy would fit in with the other babies - they are 11 months, 10 months and 8 months.  There is also a 4 and 2 year old.  We've all just met each other recently so still new.  You are welcome to join us...just let me know :)
