Baby Items

We are trying to save on major items as we go. I know there is usually a month where some of the baby stores such as Target or BabiesRus has a major year sale where you can get everything on sale? Does anyone know when that might be?

I want to buy our bigger items such as crib and car seat/stroller then.

    Target just had their baby sale a few weeks ago and I know they do another really good one in September.

    Babiesrus just had their 25 percent off trade in event at the beginning of the month ant the next trade in event should be in the fall, I think September.

    Both stores run baby item sales all year long though.

    Follow babycheapskate.com She usually updates you on all the best and upcoming sales. If you can't wait, I'd look at albeebaby.com since, on a daily basis, on most things, they have some of the best pricing on the major baby items. BRU, in particular, is always way higher and, on a lot of things, the sales only knock the prices down to what some other stores normally sell things at.

    I'd check albeebaby.com, amazon.com, & walmart.com for deals.  Walmart has more upscale items online than they carry in the store and great deals on baby gear...sometimes with no or very little shipping.

    I HIGHLY recommend using Amazon.com.  They have the biggest selection and almost always the best prices.  Now, you may need to see things in person at a store first but then compare the prices to what you'll see on Amazon and it will probably be better. I also liked reading all of the reviews on Amazon, they gave me the best idea about what I was buying before I did. And you might want to get Amazon Prime to get free and 2 day shipping.

    Not sure how far along you are and how much time you have but my husband and I researched all the big items early on and visited stores to compate and choose. Then we checked flyers nad online sales weekly until the items we picked were on a good sale. Took months to gather the items but we got everything on sale and the specific models and brands we wanted. Saved a ton!!
