Do you like it? I've seen on here that people like the double snap and go and the double city mini but what about the City Select? We've got a ways to go but DH and I finally ventured into a Buy Buy Baby just to look around/get ideas and we fell in love with the City Select. It seems like a great stroller but I'd like to get opinions on what others have thought. We would get the Chicco keyfits infant carriers as well.
Thanks!!!

I love my BJCS and when the carseat adapters went on sale on Amazon during Black Friday it was actually cheaper to buy 2 of the adapters than the DSNG stroller.
Personally, I hear people complain about carseats, strollers, etc. in terms of weight but I just picked function over everything else so I have no clue how it compares in areas I like to call the 'extras'. The stroller fits in my sedan's trunk easily and I am in LOVE with the fact it is tandem... there is no way the BJCM side-by-side would fit through the doorways of half the places we take them... esp the pediatrician's office.
I adore ours. We have the adapter (I need to get a second one) and the Chicco Keyfit 30. We've used it all over the place with just DD and with my niece as well. I bought the second seat kit off eBay for a steal a while back. I'm 5'2" & 120# (not-pregnant) and don't have much muscle. I honestly don't find it anymore cumbersome than a travel system when getting it in and out of our vehicle and that only takes 2/3 minutes. When in use, it's a dream. Everything is super smooth. Even my 80 year old grandmother had no trouble pushing the girls around our local zoo.
I will say that I wish it had cupholders, but I got the Brica cup & snack holder and it works just fine.

we have the BJCS, with the chicco keyfits and it has been perfect. on a side note i do LOVE how the chicco keyfits snap into their bases so easily, it has been really nice.
one of the things i like about the BJCS is that its easy to use as a single stroller also. a friend of mine said she would use the BJCS with it's original seat and carry one twin a lot so she got have some skin to skin time with one while on walks. also, we had medical appointments where we only were taking one of the boys and it was so easy for us because the BJCS allows you to easily take one kid in it and it moves easily as a single stroller also.
it is more bulky than i initially thought when trying it in the store - i'm 5'2", 130 pre preg, but not excessively so and i felt that the 10lb difference in teh DSNG was negligible. also, i did not like (and i know this is super picky) that the chicco carseats did not "snap" into the DSNG and were "just" strapped in. i'm sure it's fine (as many people on here use that combination), but it made my husband nervous also.

i'm one of the few twin moms who hated it (i had it and actually sold it).
as a DSNG i hated that i couldnt easily see into both seats while walking, and im not really short, i had to stand on tippy toes to see the back one. in the DNSG i could easily see both. I also hated the extra steps for setup, having to snap in the adapters to the stroller (but admittedly im an impatient person. And I had a c-section and could lift the DSNG in and out of the car much earlier than I could manage the city select
with the seats i also had a hard time seeing both, and i didnt like the setup with the extra steps (it wouldnt fit with the seats attached folded in my car).
i got a city mini double instead for hte car which i love. i've never had a problem fitting it in a door.
but like i said, most people love it, so take that with a grain of salt
I have one and loved it up until very recently. Its heavy, but really sturdy and frankly not too back compared to carrying 50lbs of kid all day long
. I love that I can take it anywhere and it is very easily maneuverable with one hand (ie. if I have to carry one kid, I can still easily push the second in the stroller). The sun shades come down pretty far which was a huge plus for me. I can't believe how many stroller sun shades out there were a total joke! The basket below is HUGE, I can do a pretty good grocery shopping run and don't have toe a cart behind me.
Cons (which up until recently honestly haven't been a problem). As the boys have gotten bigger, there isn't a very comfortable way to sit them so that someone doesn't get a bit squished. Looking at putting on trays, they both need to be sitting in the same direction, which means that only one baby can lay back at a time. It does take a little while to put together--not a long time, but when its -10 degrees with windchill, every second counts.
If money was no object I would have both the BJSC and the citi mini. If I had to pick one, I think the citi mini is the way to go.
My twins are 27 months and I still use my BJCS. I got it when they were 4 months old, so I didn't use it as a DSNG (although I wish I had!) and really love the stroller. For me, it's way easier to just load them in the stroller and use the massive basket for shopping rather than deal with trying to find a double cart (and then dealing with the germs on a shopping cart...shudder).
My babies really never slept in the stroller after their NB days, so the reclining hasn't been a huge issue for us. We used the seats both facing us until around 6 or 7 months and then facing each other. It's just starting to get tight in that configuration.
I have a Combi SBS as my "quick trip" stroller and I find I'd rather set up the BJCS time and time again over the Combi (which is a POS). My BJCS drives like a dream, even with 65lbs of toddler in it. If money were no object, I'd say have both a city select and a city mini. My twins like being in their all terrain SBS but for shopping the tandem is still more practical.
