LoL @ Texans and 'weather'

It's in the 40s here, and it's supposed to get down to the low 30s or high 20s tonight. There is a TWENTY PERCENT chance of snow/sleet FLURRIES (no sticky) and everyone on the radio and in my office is FREAKING out about it.

Dude, wear a heavy coat tomorrow. You'll be fine. OOOOO, you can wear those horrid snow boots from the other day!

    They'd all be dropping dead of heart attacks if they lived where I live...we're getting 30cms of snow tonight (dont ask me what that is in inches haha) and around here that doesn't even make people slow down on the roads...lol

    only sucky part is everyone driving like molasses.

    yeah as a displaced Texan I laugh so hard when my family calls and says it's 30. because here when it gets UP to 30, I don't wear a coat! I only wear my coat if it's below 20 usually. hahaha

    and snow....HA we had 3 ft of snow last april and 12 hours and nothing closed. I think it'd take 12 ft of snow to close down anything in this city.

    Can't wait to go to Tx next week!!!!! I seriously hope it warms up though because I am in desperate need of sunshine!

    I have never heard snow fall measured in cm!

    BTW that is about 11 inches.

    I love it when it ices over and NO ONE can drive anywhere.  The whole city shuts down.

    woo hoo! Shorts and sandals for me. LOL!

    In all honesty...I will give ya'll this. Down there it is a wet cold. Here it is so dry. we shovel snow in our jeans...lol. It's really not the same type of cold. But still.

    I grew up in the northeast, I now live in Texas.

    The freak out is understandable: no one here knows how to drive in the snow and the municipalities are not equipped to deal with the snow.
