Biopsy Results

Well, my doctor called with the biopsy result and one was completely normal, one was mild and one came back as severe. He said that I can't ignore the severe one as odds are if left untreated that will become cancer. So, now he'll go and completely remove the lesions, they'll be tested again to make 100% sure they aren't cancer already, and then hopefully things will be normal from here on out. Having the lesions removed will definitely put me at a greater risk for miscarriage and preterm labor in any future pregnancies but I guess I'll deal with that when and if I have to deal with it as I don't really have a choice but to push forward with both the procedure and eventually the frozen embryo transfer.

I am glad you are having them removed & I am sorry you have to go through this. Try to concentrate on your own health & well being for now. FX for a great outcome on both the procedure & the future FET.

I am so sorry you are dealing with this hon. Thank goodness it was found early though. Sending tons of T&Ps that the procedure to remove the lesions goes smoothly. Do you know when it will be? (((((hugehugs)))))

He wants to do it in two weeks because he wants the areas he biopsied to heal.......so that he can basically cut them completely off. I'm sure medically it all makes sense but just typing it out makes it sound kinda silly.

I'm so sorry. I know we were all hoping for better news from you. GL with the next procedure. And you're right, worry about crossing the next bridge when you get there. For now focus on getting healthy. Hugs.

I'm so sorry about your biopsy results. I hope the abnormal cells are completely removed during the procedure and you go back to normal paps! Is it the LEEP that they are doing?

Well I know you're worried about future babies but I know a lot of women who had successful pregnancies after a LEEP. My OB made sure I had extra monitoring to watch my cervical length. But one step at a time. I just know how scary it is so if you want to talk, you can PM me.
