I checked in Monday night at 10pm and got started on pitocin. They increased the amount every hour. By 4pm Tuesday, I finally reached a 3 and was able to get my epidural! By 6 I had reached a 9. Before i knew it, the dr was saying it was almost time to push! Cue extra hits on my epi lol
Tristan Brian William was born Tuesday 21213 at 8:59 pm! 8 pounds and 15 ounces, 21.25 long! My little giant!
The extra hits on my epi were pointless. I felt him come out and the exact moment of tearing! It took almost an hour to get sewn up, 2nd and 3rd degree tearing.
Worth every moment. We are all home, healthy and happy. His umbilical cord fell off already! It looks ok to me, and I've read that's normal...but I'm still glad his first appointment is tomorrow so the doc can look at it!
Good luck to all the ladies still waiting. Congrats to those who already have their little ones!
