Bloody show and due today

So we've reached Sunday Feb 17, our due date! Happy 40 weeks fellow Feb 17 mommas! I have been at least 2cm and 70 to 80 percent effaced for two weeks now, last check was last Tuesday, and since I'm still comfortable and not having any labor signs have settled in for the long haul of baby being "late". Well wouldn't you know it this morning I go to the bathroom and see what I guess qualifies as the bloody show. No contractions other than BH and just really tired today, but now I'm wondering if he'll be gracing us with his presence sooner than I thought. Checkup and ultrasound to check amniotic fluid is scheduled for Wednesday, we'll see if I make it to that appointment, before today I thought I definitely would! Thinking since I'm likely dilating more that I may not. Would sure love to meet this little guy!
What are you baby on the outside mommas' experience with bloody show/onset of labor?

The only time I had bloody show was after having my membranes stripped with both kids. Both times it put me into labor

With DS it took a looooong time for active labor but with DD I delivered 6hrs after my membranes were stripped & I had my bloody show.

I had bloody show over two days, a Saturday and Sunday. I was due the following Monday. Eight days after my due date and ten days after the bloody show I was induced. So it definitely was not an imminent labor sign for me. Wishing you better luck!

I'm also due today have had NO excitement whatsoever! I've been extremely tired that's about it. I lost my mucous plug over a week now. gave in and had my cervix checked on Thursday im at 2cm 60 effaced and very soft. I also had my membranes stripped my dr told me to expect a lot of bleeding, cramps and contractions I felt nothing and didn't have any more discharge than usual. So now we wait. Blah! Good luck hopefully we both have our baby boys soon!
