Outfit for Birthday Party

What are your LOs wearing for their first birthday party? We are just having something at house but don't know if I should dress her up in a frilly outfit or just do a cute top and pants??

We have a cute dress that a friend gave us, but I'm 90% sure she'll need an outfit change after dessert.

I have a brown Carter's "Birthday Boy" one piece outfit that big brother wore. He will either wear that or I have some iron on transfer paper left from another project that I could make him a sock monkey shirt with to match the theme.

I bought DS a onesie that says "It's My Birthday" that he will wear with jeans. It's a Carters onesie that I got for about $6 at Kohls. Already had the jeans.

I'm either doing this cute dress I got at Carter's or making one with some John Deere fabric. Not sure yet. I will use the Carter's dress for Easter either way.

Dinosaur theme, dinosaur outfit. I had already bought it and had it put away until he fit into it and the timing is good so we're saving it for the party.

Not sure if this was a XP, but I am so stoked by DD's outift that I may have responded twice. Our theme is Irish Princess (and she really is half-Irish), so I made her a green tutu and green felt crown. I also ordered her a personalized onesie with a cute little Irish girl on it. Twinkle toes will look so adorable!! :-)

I am going to try making a onesie for DS. I'm thinking of getting a scrap of argyle fabric I can cut into a "1" and sew it on a white onesie. Then he'll just wear khakis or some comfortable pants that coordinate.
