Food allergy?

Does this sound like a food allergy? My LO's 2nd solid she ever ate was avocado which she seemed to really like. After a few weeks and introducing other foods she developed a rash around her mouth. She would often come home from daycare w/ really really red hands and mouth. We couldn't figure out what it was so I started back to square one and gave her 1 food at a time again. This time, after introducing avocado she broke out badly around her mouth and began rubbing her eyes while she was eating. She got the the point where she would turn her head to the avocado as soon as she tasted it. We have since then eliminated it from her diet and hasn't had any more breakouts.

I just wanted to see what everyone else thought

Seems pretty likely. I would avoid avocado and proceed with caution when feeding other foods.
