skin rash

I gave birth 2/12. 24 hr later I developed a small rash on the back of my hands. Didn't think much of it. But then it's spread. Very itchy, on arms and legs. Before delivery had very itchy stretch marks on belly. Have been taking benadryl, but its not helping. Looked online and it sounds like PUPPPs. Anyone else with this problem?

    I had no idea what was going on until I read this post that also sounds like exactly what I have!started on my belly but now my hands and the tops of my thighs are all broke out too and it itches like no ones buisness. I've been using hydrocortison cream and hypoallergenic lotion. Not much relief and I have to use it a lot but it's been better than nothing

    Yes sounds like pupps. I had it for the last three weeks of my pregnancy and it started as stretch marks on my stomach. After baby was born it was on my right arm. It is sooo itchy. The dr recommended calamine lotion or hydrocortisone. I like calamine better because it was soothing but didnt dry out my skin. Its supposed to go away shortly after pregnancy.

    If it's not PUPPPS... did you have IV antibiotics during labor? I am allergic to a certain type of antibiotic, and I get a skin rash that starts ~24 hours after it being in my system. So... just throwing that out there.
