Pediasure?

My 3 year old was recently put on pediasure 3 times a day. She now has runny bowel movement that smell horribly since being put on the pediasure. Has anybody else had to deal with this? Did it go away? or did you have to take your LO off the pediasure? Thanks In Advance ladies

    Yes DD also has a similar reaction. 3 x a day seems excessive! Pediasure has lots of sugar in it so I would cut back on it if I were you. I mix it with whole milk when I give it to DD.  That helps to lessen the poop side effect and also reduces the amount of sugar she is getting.

    Yes! Wow 3x a day Is a lot! It is probably the sugar that is causing it. Especially if you give juice too. 

    We did 2x a day and now we do whole milk 50/50 with pedia sure

    Its for weight gain cuz she wont eat a whole lot and is dropping off the charts and her bones are not the correct age they should be. And she does not recieve any juice through out the day just the pediasure and a cup of tea at snack time. They want the extra calories in her but i have to limit drinking cuz she wont eat if i give her a cup all day long. She barely eats anything at meal times and we are in the process of going to a specialist for this at the moment but just wondering if anyone else had that problem. Thanks ladies and i will call her dr tomorrow when they open!

    Pediasure is basically HFCS vitamins. You might try just adding coconut oil or olive oil to all her foods and try pushing high fat foods like avocados which admittedly my DS doesn't like at the moment. I would definitely try to add calories by upping healthy fats over pediasure though.
