Stations question

I'm a FTM and since December, my OB has thought LO would come early because I have gone to L&D with preterm labor twice. At my 39 week appointment on Thursday, my OB said LO is at -1 station and she could come any time. My due date is on Wednesday, and my 40 week appointment is on Tuesday. If LO has moved down to 0 station, will my OB send me to L&D? She feels like she's gotten even lower, and I've been having irregular contractions and lost the rest of my mucous plug yesterday. I know that doesn't really mean anything, but it seems like if she is at 0 station she'd be practically falling out! Haha

    No, they likely wouldn't admit you based solely on station. My baby was at 0 station for a month. I ended up being induced at 40w4d anyway. But it's certainly more favorable for the baby to be engaged in the birth canal than not, so 1 station is definitely a good sign!
