Bumpers?

My LO sleeps in her crib. She is now rolling around a lot more in her sleep. She will roll from back to side to belly, which is good but she rotates in the crib as well and her legs are getting stuck in the crib slots. We dont have the bumpers in because of SIDS. Everyone says you shouldn't have anything in the crib but we are getting nervous that she is going to get hurt. Is it safe to put the bumpers in? She is 6 mo.

    We use Wonder Bumpers by Go Mama Go Designs because DD kept hitting her head on the crib slats. They won't keep her from sticking her legs through, but she won't hurt herself. They're excluded from the bumper pad bans.

    I don't use anything didn't with dd either they won't get hurt from hitting their heads or getting limbs in bars I have a video monitor so if he crystal I can see if he for his leg caught .

    A valid concern, but if it makes you feel any better, neither of my children ever got hurt sticking their legs out of the slats on their crib. They'd also only get about knee-deep which really isn't far, and it's bendy there. You're probably all right to continue leaving the bumpers out of the crib.

    We have breathable bumpers (from target) they are mesh. I know alot of people say you shouldnt even use those, but I lik them and feel safer with them rather than regular cloth bumpers. Good Luck!

    We also use the wonder bumpers and they are great. You need to know how many rails you have on your crib though since they fit on each individual one.

    If you get something like this, then I'd say it's safe.

    But, if you're going to go grab an old school one, definitely not safe.
