So ds was 34w 5d but was 3lb, so we definitely used adjusted age for him. He just turned 2 and is well caught up. Dd is now 7 weeks old and was a 36 weeker. She came on her own andwas 5lb 12oz, so in much better shape than ds (no nicu time or any issues). Do we still go by adjusted age? I only ask b/c no docs are this round. Her day/night schedule is all messed up, and i don't want to have unrealistic expectations about when that should be sorted out by.

I did for things like milestones and wonder weeks. For example, most babies have the peak of colic at 6 weeks but for her, she was super sleepy for the first 4 weeks and her peak of fussiness was at 11 weeks. Keeping adjusted age in mind kept me sane during those almost 2.5 months of misery.
By the time she was 3 or 4 months old though it all seemed to have evened out and I didn't really use adjusted age unless I wanted to reassure myself if she took a little longer to master a skill.
