How many of what size bottle?

We are getting ready to make the switch to glass bottles, and I am trying to figure out how many of each size bottle I need? My girls are currently eating 3 to 3.5 ounces, 7 x daily, and have been for the last 6ish weeks. Is it worth it to buy a days worth of small bottles? For the life of me, I cannot remember how long my older two needed small bottles! I would love any opinions/advice that you have! Apparently being sleep deprived leads to an inability to make decisions!!

  • I would just switch to the larger bottles as they wilI need them evenutally anyway.  I want to say DD was around 4ish months when she starting having 5 oz bottles.  It won't hurt them to use a larger bottle even if they aren't ready for it right away, but it will save you a lot of money!

  • The evenflo glass bottles are super cheap if you wanted to buy a couple.  But you don't really need small ones.  Look for the platic cover for the glass bottles for when they are bigger and can hold their own bottle.  The bottle can crash to the floor without breaking.

  • Yes, i agree its better to have the larger bottles to save money.  I always had double the amount of bottles i would need.  so i would say 10- 12 for you since you will probably be cutting down feedings eventually.

  • Mine are 6.5 months old and we still use the small bottles that are 5 oz. They take either 4oz or 5oz at a time.I thought that by now we would have moved to bigger bottles.

    We have 16 small bottles.
