Keep them together or in seperate rooms?

I still haven't decided if we should keep the girls in the same room or not? I feel awful that I haven't done a single thing for their nursery.  A part of me just wants to wait until their here to see how it goes...but on the other hand, do I?

What did you do and or suggest? We have the room...so that's not the issue.

 TIA!

  • Mine have always been together since they have been home and I think that they miss each other when they are not together. We have been lucky that they don't wake each other up. Brooklyn spent the night with my parents the night before Blake had tubes put in because we had to leave at 4 for his apt. She woke up at 4 and was ready for day.

  • My babies are 18 months old and have roomed together since about 3 months old. Well, actually since day 1 if you count them sleeping in our bedroom in PnPs. Anyway, if we had the space, we would have given them each their own rooms. They have gotten used to sleeping in the same room, sleep through each others cries, go to sleep at bedtime and naps even if one stays awake and chatters before falling asleep, etc. So we haven't had any issues but I think it would be nice to have them in separate rooms.

  • I wished I had listened to my mom and done separate rooms- and we have 3 extra. Now with teething and napping being together they wake each other up:(

This is exactly what I'm afraid of.  DS has always been a good sleeper since the age of 3 months.  So, I'm really crossing my fingers these girls will too.  The teething and napping period can be rough.

  • I LOVE having ours in the same room.  We have a small house and could feasibly separate them, but they sleep through each other, love being together, and I like having the spare room still.
