I went to the OB today and they told me that the technician was 4 weeks off my date. Keep in mind that my triplets come before twins or single babies! I'm actually 16 weeks instead of 12 and I'm ticked!! How do you mess up 4 weeks, I get one maybe two weeks, but FOUR WEEKS. When I went last week the technician was like "Your babies look like they are a little big for 12 weeks and you measure a little big but you may just be different."
The OB apologized for the bad representation of the office and that he messed up that bad, but I figured out my baby genders:
2 boys and 1 girl!!!! We are super excited about that and can't wait for our little babies.
Sorry for the vent, but the fact that I was having triplets was enough let alone figure out I have four less weeks less the prepare.
Re: OMG!!! 4 weeks off!!! (Mild Vent)
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
I'm confused. Are you saying that you don't know which month you got pregnant? Wouldn't your (lack of) period be more reliable than basing it on the size?
Sorry if I missed some part of your story, like that you're still getting your period or there is some other reason you don't know.
I get that you're confused, but I did leave that part out. I have really light periods, so when I spotted I thought it was just a period. Then I missed my next period which I've never missed one period, so I thought maybe I was pregnant. My doctor (who I'm not going to anymore) knew this and said they would take into account.
I know it probably seems like MUD to you because I left that part out, but now everyone has the information
I've found another doctor and now I'm going there. They did confirm that I was 16 weeks and that it's 2 boys and 1 girl. They have done a lot of tests to catch anything that they may have missed because obviously they aren't very good. I'm in good hands now and I'm not concerned.
