Weird cramps/pains/ BH?

Having these weird sharp pains, feel almost crampy but more than that I'm assuming this is what Braxton hicks feel like?
I didn't have them with my 3 year old, so I'm not sure.
I'm 28 weeks with fraternal twin girls when do BH start?

    Mine started at 18 weeks but my BH always felt more like a tightness than necessarily painful or sharp. When in doubt, it's never a bad idea to call your doctor.

    I began having BH around 18 weeks and my doctor has never been concerned about them. My BH never hurt, they were just uncomfortable and tightened my whole uterus.  If you are feeling crampy I would suggest calling your doctor, as that is what I have always been told to watch for is period like cramping.  I have experienced random sharp pains all along from all of the stretching, growing, and movement.
