We didn't buy any of those but looked at them all in detail. I'll point out the baby trend one has the 'puzzle lock' buckle which can be highly annoying so take that into consideration! For some reason, despite how popular the Graco Snug ride seems to be I found it lookedly made, very thin fabric and didn't look like it would last long and had little padding for baby. But, maybe there are different models and I just kept finding the cheaper one??
Can't comment on the Keyfit. We ended up buying a Safety First AirProtect...but it isn`t compatible with our BOB stroller...but I still preferred it`s safety features, quality and durability.
I have a Keyfit and love it (easy to install). There are really two Keyfits - the Keyfit and the Keyfit 30. The difference is that the Keyfit only goes up to 22 pounds while the Keyfit 30 goes up to 30 pounds. However, both have a 30 inch height limit. If there is any chance of your baby being tall, I would not waste extra money on the Keyfit 30. My daughter is on the tall side and will hit the 30 inch limit long before she hits even the lower 22 pound limit of the "regular" Keyfit. I am glad I went with the cheaper Keyfit rather than the Keyfit 30.
I would not go with the Baby Trend. It is known to not fit babies correctly at birth (like the Snugride 22) and the handle has to be back in the car, so it makes a tight fit in a lot of vehicles.
So, I would go with the Snugride 30 or the Keyfit 30.
I haven't owned a baby trend, but I used to have a snugride and just bought a keyfit. I seem to be the odd one out from everyone I know, but my kids hated the graco. My kids seem to be particularly picky about seats, my 5.5 year old won't sit in a graco turbobooster because she says it hurts her butt. The chicco seems far better padded, so I'm hoping #3 won't scream in the car nonstop the way my first two did in the snugride.
I had the Chicco Keyfit 30 and I really liked it. It was by far the easiest car seat that I have had to install. If I had to buy one again, I would choose the Keyfit with the lower weight limit to save some money. My son grew out of the Keyfit 30 by length at about 21 pounds.
I had a Graco for my 1st and a Keyfit for my 2nd. Both seats were great. I honestly can't say I prefer one over the other. The Graco did have a bigger canopy but that wasn't really big deal for me. Both seats snap into strollers differently and depending on the stroller, even though the stroller you chose says it's compatibly with both, I would go to the store and try each carseat in the stroller and pick the one that feels more secure. You can't go wrong with either of these carseats.
I don't know anything about the Baby trend flex loc but I'm not a fan of baby trend in general. There products, at least the ones that I tested out, don't seem to be as good, IMO.
Thank you for the advice everyone!!! We decided to go with the Chicco Keyfit!
I'm very happy with the decision. We sat there playing with it and looking at it all night last night. Funny how certain things (baby clothes, crib, carseat) can just make the baby feel so real. Sometimes I wish I could fast forward to the due date, but I know I need to enjoy every step of the journey, too. OK enough corny-ness

Graco hater here. My LO hated the infant seat...would fuss and cry. I hated the buckle and how uneven the straps tightened. We switched her to a convertable at 3.5 monthsand have been happy since.
I loved our SnugRide 30. DS puked constantly so it was nice to be able to take the seat apart, wash the fabric and clean the shell. And it fit nicely in our Subaru.
