I am a SAHM but my DD goes to preschool 2 mornings a week. They teach the Creative Curriculum there and it appears from a simple goggle search that the Creative Curriculum goes on down to the infant stage even.
My LO goes to a great daycare, and so far, he has learned to really enjoy being read to, fingerpainting with safe paints, singing various songs (they do holiday shows even with the older babies), afternoon "big red bus" (stroller rides) with the other kids, watching the waddlers interact, play, and dance in the other room, and he learned to clap, reach up high, and wave while there. The teachers there also teach them how to behave properly with their peers---no biting, to pushing, etc. Once in a while, they have days where they wear a circle color; yesterday was "red day," and they learn about the color. The teachers sometimes send how parent-child projects to do at home, such as we made a autumn collage together on a cut-out leaf-shaped piece of paper in Oct.
Hope this helps! Pinterest has some awesome ideas for toddler activities too.
Our infant room also follows Creative Curriculum. DS goes to a large center, infant through preschool aged children. They do a lot of sensory play, art, reading and music.
I always taught the Creative Curriculum. It's beneficial for infants and young toddlers. It allows for more freedom of learning instead of being a "standard curriculum".
It is also taught at the school my son attends. We have the book and also use it at home to come up with ideas.
