3rd Trimester

Night sweats

Anyone else experiencing night sweats? I'm 35 weeks and for past month I wake up sweating. I live in Chicago- it's 25 degrees and i am dying. I wear a tank top and shorts to bed and keep the heat low and still so hot.

Between that and the increased heartburn and growing belly and constant trips to the bathroom I'm logging in about 2 hours of sleep a night.

Re: Night sweats

  • Me. Especially since I have to sleep with a pillow between my legs, I sweat there so much.

  • I'm right there with ya.  I live in Chicago too!  I'm 37 weeks and wake up so hot and feel like I want to also roll down the car windows with the heat off.  I also get hot with my coat on at stores or running errands.  I'm usually always cold so this is unusual for me.  This heartburn and growing belly are making me miserable along with getting up to pee every hour.  I keep saying only 3 more weeks....Hang in there!!

  • I am at the beginning of my third trimester, but I have noticed for the past two weeks I have been sweating horribly at night.. Especially my back and chest. Our house stays at 65 degrees year round and usually I freeze.. Glad to know that I am not alone
  • I'm a sweaty, drooling mess at night.  I wake up roasting, with a slick of sweat between and under my boobs.  the room is cold for DH - he's bundled up in the quilt and I've just got a sheet.  I'm on fire!

This exactly. My DH is usually the one complaining about the house being to warm too. And the drooling, it's horrible!

  • I'm the same way. I waer shorts and a t~shirt or tank top. I also sleep with a fan on me. I still wake up sweating my butt off.

  • I'm with you here! I'm just barely into the third trimester and the last couple of nights I have woke up soaked...wet spots all over my shirt. Glad I'm not alone!
  • The night sweats have been horrible! I live in Wisconsin and its been about 5 degrees at night give or take a few, and I actually slept with my window cracked the past few nights! My SO is not to fond, but he gets all the blankets to himself lol

  • My nights go back and forth all night long. I'll be sweating and roasting for a few hours, then wake up absolutely freezing, so I'll bundle up again, then start sweating again a few hours later. DH gets irritated with how all night long I keep pulling the blankets off him, then throwing them back on top of him. Poor DH. He's been sleeping on the couch for the last few weeks, and he says it's not because of me, but because the bed hurts his back.....somehow I don't believe him about it being the bed Embarrassed

  • I'm 34 weeks and I'm not at the sweaty point, but I'm with all of you on the drooling issue. It's so gross. I never drool and for about two weeks now I'll wake up in the middle of the night and the pillow is soaked. So nasty I have to get up and wash my face.
