So I've been waking up with hot flashes on and off recently and last night when I got them I thought of you in the middle of the night and how you had said you had them and you think it is because of your DOR.
Then I freaked out and woke up DH telling him I thought I was going into menopause.
Now I can't stop thinking about it. Thanks a lot ![]()
Re: IBackBevo
I'm sorry.
I think if they are in the middle of the night, they are night sweats. I actually had a bad case of them two or three nights ago, too. I have them so bad that I will soak the sheets and have to get up and put towels down because the sheets will be soaking wet and I don't want to wake my DH. At one time, I used to just sleep on towels because I would have them so often. I remember having them very occassionally as far back as when I was in college. However, when I was on birth control for about 8 years, I never had them. I think they are a sign of hormonal fluctuations.
When I was being seen by an RE, he told me that he worried alot more about my hot flashes (ones in the middle of the day) then he did about night sweats. I have no idea why.

Oh okay ... interesting. I don't have them randomly through the day. Just wake up ROASTING! Like, hard to breathe hot. Guess they aren't hot flashes then.
I had the sweats like what you are talking about after I gave birth both times. I had to lay down towels too.
These definitely aren't that bad.
