Earlier this week, there was a thread about lifting your toddler after transfer and I just wanted to follow up on this.
I asked my nurse after my FET and she said just to take it easy the day of transfer and then it would be fine to lift my toddler. She said since it was a FET, I didn't have the same lifting restrictions as with a fresh cycle and they are really more worried about your ovaries when it comes to lifting, not the transferred embryo. She said to imagine that your ute is a peanut butter sandwich and the embryo is a grain of rice stuck inside it, so it wouldn't move if you were carrying a toddler around.
I hope that helps.
I know all REs have different restrictions or bedrest requirements.

Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
Thank you! We transfered one fantastic looking blast yesterday. That was all we had left from our fresh cycle, so I'm hoping that it is snuggling in right now. Beta is not until 2/25 and I won't test, so its a long wait.

Thank you, thank you for posting this!! It really puts my mind at ease. I was not aware the lifting restrictions had more to do with the ovaries rather than the embryo. And how "lucky" for me I won't even have to worry about the ovaries because we may get 4 eggs tomorrow! LOL
Thanks again, and good luck to you during this 2ww!
good luck to you too!
