Well she was kind.

She said that she didn't want to ruin her friendship with him and be his girlfriend. Hugged him for the rose and will ask her parents if she allowed to go to the movies with him.

DS is actually very happy about the outcome. He said his heart was pounding for "like an hour" after talking to her. And he reached out to my DD's boyfriend to find out if he felt that way when he asked my DD out. DS was validated that his reactions were normal.

I know it took a lot of courage for him to tell a girl that he liked her. And i'm glad it went well.
