Let's get this started early. I have a coworker/friend who got flowers from her fiance yesterday and she didn't like them. She took the picture of them that she put on Facebook down because she couldn't "stand to look at ugly flowers" and she "seriously hates a halfassed bouquet." Then she bished about how she hates Valentine's Day.

Today, I'm going to take her flowers and put them on my desk. I may not give them back, either. I can't wait to here what she says about it.

I normally avoid drama, but this pissed me right off, so this is happening.

Hmm, the megastuff oreo post reminded me. I keep eating these super disgusting Jimmy Dean things in the morning. It's sausage, wrapped in pancake, on a stick.
They are SO. GOOD.

I microwave them on my way out the door and then double fist them while driving.

People stare.

I have a 3 day weekend (no work on Monday for President's Day! Woohoo!) and I'm super excited about it! BD's mom texted me this morning asking what I had going on this weekend and I made it seem like I had alot of plans with K because honestly I really don't want to hang out with her.

People have been sick since LO was born, and it worked for me..... I feel like the first 3 months I wasn't overwhelmed with visitors because people were sick and staying clear.....it was NICE. BD family is all local so I was kinda anxious about how I would handle all of them being here all the time. Fact of the matter is, people have their own lives and my baby isn't the most amazing thing in their world...! Oh yeah, and they were all sick

That reminds me the other day coming in to drop the girls off, I had some music sorta blaring and I was singing and dancing with DD in the car and we were stopped at a light and the back windows are tinted and so you can't really see the girls in the back. I was going nuts and pointing back at DD who was dancin along with me. When I turned back to face forward the cars next to me were looking and laughing at me.
Sometimes the rhythm is just gonna getcha!

You go Red! I defnintely sing to songs really, REALLY loud in my car. I hate red lights because it means I have to tone it down to avoid the laughter. Last night, I was jammin out with SO, and he turned the music down without warning me.

I sound WAY better when there's music to back me up.

I have been dairy free for about 3 weeks now. Well, on Tuesday I ate a custard paczki. I couldn't stop myself. Then I had a soy latte from Starbucks ( I've been sort of avoiding soy too just in case). The results weren't good. My poor LO was up at 4 am grunting and uncomfortable because her tummy was bothering her.... I am the worst.

Exactly! I would love some of those really pretty big bright fun flowers, like the purples and yellows. I don't know what they're called, but whatever. But yesterday SO brought me this bouquet of white roses and some other flowers, and then a red rose that was "from the kids" (P and the dogs). He hand delivered them to my work on his lunch. It was adorable. I don't even care that they aren't those other flowers, because he picked them out himself.

Moral of the story, that girl is a moron. I hope he dumps her as$.

I secretly love hearing other moms complain that their babies do not STTN. Especially those who bragged about all the great sleep and naps they were getting. I say "aw man that sucks, I hope your baby starts STTN again soon", but in my head I'm all like "yeah, uh huh that's what you get for bragging. Suck it!"

Thanks, you just reminded me that I farted in my sleep lastnight or the night before. It was loud and woke me up. I dont know if DH heard it and woke up too, I just pretended I was still sleeping. We dont fart around each other. This could have been very embarassing.

First, I've been so enlightened over what's been going on here lately. All the discussions. Really. Thanks, ladies.

My FFC: I just tried to put M down for a nap for about a half hour. I think that's far too long at this stage in the game. She fights sleep like it's the devil during the day and nearly every little sound startles her lately. She STTN the last few nights, but that's worthless to me if she's miserble all day, KWIM? Anyway, I got her to sleep then dumbasss DH decided to slam every dish we own while putting them away. So she started crying and I left her in her crib for a few minutes as I cursed DH under my breath. I think she's asleep now and I don't plan on checking for a few more minutes.

Ditto this. M was such an awful sleeper for the first 10 weeks. It's starting to change now, but man, it used to make me so mad to read those posts, "LO only sleeps 6 hours..." And I was like "my baby only sleeps for an hour stop complaining!!"

I know it's mean and I shouldn't feel that way but... Guilty.

I got my BFF a job at my work. Then another new girl was coming, she moved here from Texas so I got a lunch group together, kept trying to get her to a lunch so she could meet people and feel welcome. She snubbed me and latched onto BFF. She became a stage 5 clinger and started being snarky to both of us if she caught us chatting without her.

BFF came over to my cube today and said she was getting really annoyed with clinger. It made me laugh inside.

I totally belt show tunes in my car and get slightly embarrassed when I've got the sunroof open at a redlight But apparently not embarrassed enough to stop Wink

My FFFC: I just sat here and ate a pickle cup and almost an entire can of black olives. If I'd had sex since before my kid was born I'd totally think I was pregnant again.

ETA another FFFC: MIL dropped off a valentine for DS yesterday and when I saw it was her at the door I hid in my bedroom so she wouldn't know I was awake and able to come to the door. FTR, this was totally justified as some of the ladies on the board know, but I'm still kind of ashamed I did it. Kind of. Okay, not really. But I know I should be.
