My DS is aging out of his EI services very soon- turns 3 on March 3rd- and I want to get a gift for his speech therapist. She has been working with our family on speech and feeding skills since DS was 7 months old and has been amazing! She has helped DS make HUGE strides (he may not even qualify for preschool speech!) and she has been a huge support to both me and DH (esp. me since I am the one who did the majority of the sessions). We have been seeing her at least weekly since he was 7 mo old. and it will be bittersweet to see her go :-(
Any suggestions? I don't really have a price point in mind, just want to get something meaningful since she has been a shoulder for me to cry on many times and I know she has a special place in my sons heart. TIA!
Re: gift ideas for SLP
Oh that is perfect! He has a nickname for her and I have a cute picture of him sitting on her lap reading a book together :
