Jan Team Green baby FINALLY arrived!

And we are team PINK!  What the heck! :)  Ariel Marie was born 2.11.13 at 11:17pm - nearly a full two weeks late.  Weighed in at 8lbs 5.6oz and is 20" long.  She is completely perfect.  Still waiting for my milk to come in, but the sweet girl is getting better at eating, so I think that's helping.  I'd hoped to go med free but after 17 hours of back labor, I elected to get an epidural and some pitocin to get things going.  My doula said my epi was unbelievably good.  I was able to move my legs a bit, wiggle toes but had ZERO pain.  After getting the epi and some pit, it was only about 3 hours until I was ready to push.  I pushed ~ 35 mins and out she came!  My doula also said she's never seen anyone with an epi push as effectively/efficiently as I did.  Epi turned out to be the right choice for us and I don't regret it one bit!  

DH and I are totally smitten with her.  I think we were both thinking she would be a boy, but I couldn't imagine not having our sweet girl!
