I'm noticing that my false labor is always when I'm lying down too. If I get up and walk around they space out. From what I read, that's pretty normal (and also very inconvenient).
The other night I fell asleep sitting up in a rocking chair because they went away that way.
My MW told me not to call it false labor because those contractions are actually doing work and mentally it is easier to deal with them if you think about the work they are doing to help you progress towards active labor! I am not sure if it will help you, but it definitely helps me deal with them if I remember it is not for nothing!
