Short backstory: I swam competitively from 7th grade through high school. My high school swim team was, and still is, hardcore. Since I graduated 10 years ago, I have had absolutely no motivation to be active. I feel like getting up to swim at 5am and staying at practice after school til 6pm through high school burnt me out. Forever. And ever.
However, I have this new "craving" to exercise. I actually really want to get back in the pool; mostly because I HATE sweating. Wanting to swim requires a gym membership. I've never belonged to a gym. The cost along with the fact that I'm not sure how dedicated I would be... I am phenomenally lazy... is really stopping me from moving forward. I'm looking at an LA Fitness and a Jewish Community Center. They're both roughly 20min from me. Any gym lovers that can motivate me to go for it?

We're about to join one. I'm super excited! I'm not even sure if the one we're joining has a pool, but it has these water massager things that I'm super excited for. I looove swimming, but I don't think any of the ones around us have a pool except for the YMCA.
