She eats anywhere from 2-4 ounces per feeding, depending on how much she had the previous bottle....I also have to supplement bc I dont pump enough. I only get 12-14 oz per day from me
LO BFs once a day when she first wakes up/when my alarm goes off and I get her up to feed her. She will not BF the rest of the day - so I EP. She BFs about 5:15-5:30.
She eats whatever she BFs in the morning. She gets five 5 oz bottles. Sometimes she will leave a little, this week was some sort of a growth suprt and she had a few days of needing a few snacks so like 28-30 oz. Usually pretty consistent with 25 oz in bottles.
I have an oversupply and pump about 50-55 oz a day plus the one BF.

I pump around 30 minutes (both boobs 30 mins total). 3-7 minutes on each boob back and forth. I compress (squeeze) so I can only do one boob at a time. This way I usually get a let down twice in one boob and three times in my 'better' boobie :-)
Thanks for the compliment, that made my day! I think she's cute too :-p

Haha! I never do it with my kids in the car but I have an hour long commute and with the hands free bra - I can still have my hands on the wheel :-) so I figure I will kill 2 birds with one stone! Once I get home I literally would not have time to pump so it would be a really long stretch without this.
When I first came back from leave and was still pumping 6 times a day I did it on the way too work, too. I am much happier now that I cut that because I actually have an hour to decompress!
Oh, and for OP - it takes me about 30-35 min to pump. I let down for about the first 5 minutes. Then again at 10 minutes, 20 min and 30 min give or take a few minutes. The last 5 I usally do compressions (when not driving).

do you do anything to get that much milk? I am really trying to increase my supply since I make about 1/5 of what you do...I eat steel oats for breakfast, taking fenugreek and drinking mothers milk tea...I eat normal meals too and drink water....

No, I don't do anything special. Just lucky I guess. It may have happened this way because I EBF for the first 9 weeks PP and then when I switched over I was pumping SO MUCH and already had a good supply going that I just pumped myself right into an oversupply. The same thing happened with DD1 who also quit BFing at 9-10 weeks. However, with her, left boob like didn't work (literally got 1 oz when right got like 8 - I was the most lopsided person ever) so this time left boob is working (still less that right but way more even) so my supply is even higher.
It sounds like you are doing great things for your DD! If you want to increase have you tried adding in another session or 2 for awhile or power pumping (I am sure you have). I think the only thing that got me where I am is the frequency that I was emptying my breasts. Keep up your hard (and exhausting!) work momma!

Thanks Mrs S - I will :-) I dont think I had her on me enough in the early beginning...and I should have been pumping them dry then too. At least I will know this for the next baby :-)
Man, everyone here can pump so much! My pump rental is due back March 15 and that will be the end of pumping for me, so I've started to cut back the number of pumps each day to prepare for weaning. So far I haven't seen a big hit in my supply; I seem to just under an ounce per hour, regardless of how frequently I pump.
I pump at
7am (~8 ounces)
12:00pm (4-5 ounces)
5:00pm (4-5 ounces)
10:00pm-ish,(as soon as DD goes down for the night, 4-5 ounces)
Before I dropped to 4 pumps I was doing 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm, 11pm. DD eats everything I pump and then gets formula to top her off at the end of the day when I'm all out of milk. I pump for 45 minutes to an hour each session. I've tried so many things to increase my supply (much more frequent pumping sessions, fenugreek, blessed thistle, oatmeal) and nothing seemed to have as much of an effect as increasing my pumping sessions to make sure my breasts were fully emptied each time. I cannot wait to stop pumping!!
