Im just looking for a little reassurance from others with overdue experience. I was due yesterday. I have dialated to 3 and am thinned out a good bit. The doctor gave me the option of induction but I declined and said we would talk ab it at my 41 week appt. I want to give her a last chance on her own. Im still working and everyone at work keeps telling me all the things that could go wrong now making me really unsure of my decision. Ex shes going to be too big for a vaginal birth, swallowing feces, etc. The dr said since I do not have high bp or swelling and she is fine that there is no medical reason to induce. I wish everyone would have kept their opinions to themselves!
Re: a little reassurance?
Just ignore them. I think you made the right decision!!!
You should have your membranes stripped to see if that
helps at all.
Good luck & hang in here hun
