I admit I am not confident in the preschool teacher and speech therapist at the preschool. The teacher has at least 2-3 years of teaching. And I want to give them a chance but I have felt this way for half a year already.

Given that info, this is what I would do.
1. If you feel that the speech therapist you're working with is better than your school's SLP, keep it for now.
2. What are your specific concerns with the preschool teacher/SLP at the school? I would address your concerns with them so you can work on some solutions.

All fall semester, there were calls of bad behaviors that DS did in school. I kept communication with the teacher and Preschool SLP and tried to help give them tips and ideas to help DS from a friend of mine and the behavioral therapist.
The SLP is nice. There is just not much change to DS speech.
Both of these individuals do not give me "chills of firmness." All I heard was bad behaviors. I asked them if there was any good behaviors DS does. I know he gets in trouble some of the time.
