Owen says "no" for everything he wants or doesn't want! So annoying when trying to decifier this kids whines LOL
Anyone elses LO's doing this? I have to hold up something and if he says no and gets mad, then I know it is a 'No' but if he says no and doesn't get mad, then it might be a yes but still might be a no... ugh!
I'm trying to teach him yes but it's not working yet
Re: No means yes?
Tatum's first response to almost everything is "no." More than half the time, it's not what she means, so I always ask her at least one or two more times after she first says no. It's terribly frustrating.
I feel like it's DH and my fault, because we tell her "no" too often. I'm now working on saying something other than "no" to tell her not to do things.
I thinking signing would help. We've been teaching J how to nod his head yes or no, and it seems to be helping him decide. His "no" typically includes pushing said object away or something similar.
Emily says "yeh" to almost anything, even when she clearly doesn't understand the question. But when she says no she means no.
She also says "all done" even when she's not. We will go to clear her plate and she'll scream until we put it back and then proceed to eat more. 5 minutes later she will say all done again, but actually be all done.
