My DD (10 wks) has been sleeping in her crib since she was about 5 weeks old.
Could her taking naps in her crib be messing with her sleep schedule at night? I always make sure there is plenty of daylight in the room so her days/nights dont get confused...and she naps so well in the crib. usually for 2-3 hours for her morning nap. Just curious, does anyone here intentionally have their little one nap somewhere other than where they sleep at night?
She used to sleep from 10-4 then again til about 8. She even had a few nights that she slept through the night til 6. Lately she's been back to getting up at 2am and I'm trying to figure out if there's something I should be doing differently...
Re: Where does your baby nap?
DS naps typically in our living room, window blinds wide open, we don't try and be quiet. He usually is spread out on our couch or in his RNP...hasn't really taken to falling asleep in his swing yet.
At daycare he either falls asleep in her swing or naps in a PNP or on her or her daughter's (her helper) chest...he loves that spot! He is pretty spoiled there!
Lately his morning naps are around 20 to 30 minutes and then he as a larger afternoon nap from 2:00pm until I pick him up shortly after 4:30pm.
Henry Cavill...You're welcome!

It's probably just a phase and nothing you are doing/not doing. Night sleeping seems to be a two step forward one step back process.
That being said DS doesn't sleep in his bassinette unless it's time for night time sleep. He typically sleeps on his playmate out in the front room or kitchen (wherever we are at), he takes one nap in the swing and that's when DD goes down for her nap. That nap I do make it a little darker and quiet.
