NT scan w/ gender prediction

I had my NT ultrasound today, it went really well, Dr said everything looks great. I am 12w 5d. I was surprised to have a Dr do my u/s, but he was amazing. And he said he is 90 sure it's a girl used nub theory!!!! We didn't care either way, but it is so exciting to know! Our family/friends don't know we are preggo, we sent our parents frames with u/s pics and they should get them today! Such an exciting day!

    It's probably best to google Nub Theory, but I'll give it a shot. At 1114ish weeks, your little one will have a little nub that will eventually become a sex organ. Depending on the direction in relation to the spine, it will indicate the sex with high accuracy. Angled down is a girl, parallel to the spine is a boy. From what I read, many u/s techs won't guess this early, but our Dr offered to tell us.

    It's actually parallel to the spine is a girl, and angled up is a boy.

    I'm pretty sure she meant to say perpendicular. Easy pregnancy brain mistake.
